Don’t Allow Your To Child Get Rejected By Soccer Academy Coaches
Just Because You Didn’t Know These Simple Facts…

Children are being cherry picked for academies right now as we speak. Your child may be one of those chosen or a possible contender and have a really bright future ahead.

But statistics show that only one per cent will have any chance of actually making it through to schools of excellence and on to the professional game.

And what happens to those players that are dropped like a disused napkin into the rejection pile of countless hopefuls that were simply not “good enough”?

Some do bounce back and prove those coaches who dropped them wrong.
That’s special.

Unfortunately the vast majority never recover and their self esteem and confidence is left shattered, broken into tiny pieces that parents struggle, sometimes for many years, to try and rebuild.

It’s a very tough thing for anyone, let alone your child, to accept and be forced to believe that they’re simply not good enough to achieve their dream.

Ask yourself this…

How would you feel if someone you trusted, respected, admired, maybe even loved, turned round one day and said “you can leave now because you’re not good enough”?

It would be a tough thing to take and possibly even tougher to pick yourself up from, wouldn’t it?

Now imagine you’re 13,14 or 15 years old and having to face that kind of decision. Wouldn’t that just crush your world? Wouldn’t it just devastate you?

Academy coaches say that 99 per cent of players are just not prepared or haven’t got what it takes to reach for the top.

Are those the words that you want your child to hear after gruelling years of trudging from ground to ground, city to city, county to count, up and down the country….all in the hope of them fulfilling their true potential?

Just to hear a soccer coach tell you and your child that “you’re just not good enough”?

I didn’t think so.

Thankfully there is information available to help you and your talented child prepare to become accepted into that one per cent of players that HAVE got what it takes.

And if they’re really special, to completely bypass the academy system into the select few that professional clubs chase and coaches recommend.

One of the key resources written in the past few years that has helped soccer parents prepare their child into what academy coaches not only look for in a player, but vehemently desire as the golden chalice, the holy grail in players is “How To Become A Better Soccer Parent”.

This easy to read e-Book is a step-by-step guide. It’s designed to put the knowledge and experience from one of the most sought after youth soccer coaches in the world, Imtiaz Jamil, into parents hands so they too know what soccer coaches look for and what will make their child stand out, be special and leap frog into the front line of players that are destined for bigger things.

Many, many players have technical ability, physical prowess, are faster, have natural ability and so and so on. But only a mere one per cent possesses these ‘must have’ skills that ALL top level players have.

Simply put…

If your child does not know about and does not have these skills they will have a limited, if at all, any opportunity to get past academy level and kick-on to the top.

So, for the sake of a few pounds are you willing to risk your child’s potential future?

The author, Imtiaz Jamil, runs private one-on-one sessions for a one day fee of £1500 plus expenses. He imparts this same information to young hopefuls who are serious about their future as you are about your child’s.

These sessions are extremely rare as he also runs his business, The Targetizer Ltd. Booking on to a session is as tough a task as being accepted for a place through his rigorous selection process.

To combat the demand for his time he has produced this concise e-Book that will take you and your child through the process of developing what can only be described as the 90 per cent of skills that many coaches fail to teach players.

You can choose to either go through the selection process and attempt to get a one-on-one session at £1500 plus expenses or invest £19.97 in this e-Book.

Physical, technical and tactical skills have been described as only 10 per cent of what your child needs to know to make it to the top. If your child is unaware of the other 90 per cent then can you really expect an academy coach to accept them?

Why should they when they know they have at least one per cent of players that already have this knowledge, are using it daily in their training and are positively bettering their chances of becoming good, if not great players with it.

If you were in that coach’s position, who would you choose?

The player that can handle all the game can throw at them at the highest level?

Or…

The player that will get crushed under the pressure of high level soccer at the first hurdle?

To learn these ‘must have’ skills and to help your child develop these essential qualities click here and order today so you can start putting these skills into action immediately.

You will be able to download this e-Book immediately and get to using the information at once. The sooner you start the better equipped your child will be and the sooner they will stand out from the herd of ‘wannabes’ and start becoming real contenders.

Wannabes get found out very quickly. Contenders always get given the best opportunities.

WOW! Words Of Wisdom

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Over the weekend, a freinds father sadly passed away. I didn’t real know him, but I knew his kids pretty well and we all grew up on the same street. His father was a young, fit and healthy 65 years old and used to fix cookers - lugging them from peoples homes and back again.

What I’d really like to share with you is probably one of the most profound but simple things I’ve heard in a long time that really made me sit up and think - about my life, my business and the people I come across and try to help.

Atonement - Is This Killing Your Soccer Game Plan?

The Soccer Bite Back - Is Atonement Killing Your Game Plan?

What is Atonement?
Atonement, as described in the Collins English Dictionary is to ” make amends (for sin or wrongdoing).

So what has this got to do with soccer and your game plan?

Atonement is an inbuilt system, programmed into our minds from birth, by well meaning parents, teachers and guardians, that we must atone for our mistakes. That is, try and make amends for any mistake we’ve made. In football that may be giving the ball away cheaply, not scoring or whatever we or our players deem as a mistake - to atone we go the extra yard to make up for our errors.

Football Funding Article - How To Get Funding

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I came across an article just before christmas about our role as coaches in the development of the game from grassroots through to national level.

As you know I’m a firm believer that the buck starts and stops with us in developing the bright new talent that will support and grow football and every level of the game - from park to premeir league and beyond.

The article I referred to is from the top dogs at Sport England - the government set body that is tasked with supporting sports at all levels - from schools to clubs, within England.

Soccer Endurance Workouts For Training

Endurance Workouts

All exercises are dependant on age and experience – if you are under 10 then simply running around
doing what under 10’s do is enough workout for younger bodies.

Youth and Senior aged players – 14+ should be concentrating on more soccer specific exercises
to help build all muscle groups to be able to cope with the stresses and strains of the game.

Communicating On The Soccer Pitch

The Importance Of Communication In Soccer
Recently, I saw a youth coach set up a 4v4 game with some under 6’s. Some of these kids were totally new to the game,
others had some experience.

Now, you know as well as I do that at this age it’s all about enjoying having a kick about. Nothing too serious or heavy
because that last thing we want to do is put of little ones by being too aggressive.

The coach, in all his wisdom, presumed that the kids understood football commands like ‘throw in’ and ‘free kick’.

Of course when the ball went out of play the kids all followed the ball as if nothing had happened and carried on whilst the
coach chased behind screaming ’stop!’ ’stop!’ ‘throw in!’ ‘throw in!’

Very amusing for the parents but you could see the coach was getting a bit aggravated. (more…)
